Built in 1919 and now managed by the Idaho Falls Arts Council, the Colonial Theater is a prime destination for performing arts events of all types, from productions of popular Broadway musicals like "Cats" to performances by touring Grammy-winning performers. Also popular for its stunning architectural details, the theater has elements like a large stained glass window and a lovely tiled lobby. The downtown theater is positioned just a few blocks north of The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho.
