Heavily weighted towards displaying works by regional artists and of topics of local interest, The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho acts as a wonderful way to explore the culture of the region. The museum's permanent collection is supplemented by a rotating series of visiting and temporary exhibits, often highlight the work of a particular local artist such as Helen Aupperle or Carol Ralston Watson. Situated just east of the Snake River, the museum is in downtown Idaho Falls near the Museum of Idaho.
